The Shedd Aquarium, the Planetarium, Soldier Field, and more?

This update is a day late, but inet problems followed by google being down are to blame. But better late than never, right?

So yesterday my bioarch friend and myself, the coolest globetrotting monkey in the world, went to the Shedd Aquarium, the Planetarium, Soldiers Field, the beach, and a few other places on the Museum campus. But first the aquarium.

We saw all sorts of different types of fish and reptiles. We checked out the reef exhibit:







And we saw the Amazonian flood exhibit. Here's a sampling of what we saw:




And my favorite was the seahorses!







They were so cool, but extremely difficult to photograph.

Next was the Planetarium. They had a space expedition exhibit, as well as the history of astronomy. Here's a sampling of what you can expect there:







We then found a beach and played there for a little bit. It was quite refreshing given how warm it was yesterday. But we didn't stick around long as the beach was crowded, which was expected. We then headed down to Soldier's Field...



And no, that's not a giant flying saucer attached to it. The mother ship has not landed in Chicago. ;)

But the field is dedicated to the men and women who have served in the military. Here are shots of the dedicatory statues.
