Free Day at the Museum of Science and Industry

Hello, Ladies and Gents! As luck would have it, today was a free day at the Museum of Science and Industry, so we (the bioarch, myself, and T*) went to the museum. We explored the Colombian Expedition in Chicago (from about a little over a century ago), a toy factory, the Internet, a Rail Road Station (done just for Ronin), and a Genetic Laboratory. And aside from the cool exhibits, we ran into a group of cosplyers! Go figure.

Above: Not sure how well you can see them, but here are the cosplayers. We admire their bravery-especially the young gentleman dressed as a woman in a maid's outfit. Go you!




Above: Guess who's iris that is (hint, it's not a monkey's.) :P

Below: This exhibit has a chick station. Not as in girl but as in baby chicks. People can watch the chicks hatch from eggs and turn into cute little baby chickens known as chicks. :P

And for those of you who may be concerned, we did peel the bioarch girl away from the window very carefully and she, nor anyone else, was hurt in the process. :P
