The Art Institute of Chicago & Sweeney Todd

Today's original plans were deterred due to rain, but the day was salvaged by visiting the Art Institute of Chicago and going to the production of Sweeney Todd (which was part of the original plans).



The Art Institute is nestled in downtown Chicago, and it's a great place to visit if you're interested in both ancient and modern art (and anything and everything in between). :) The outside of the Art Institute is a spectacle in itself-lions, bonsai garden, fountains, and more. Very beautiful:







And the exhibits inside the museum are wonderful,too!






Then we went to Sweeney Todd, but on the way, we saw Wrigley Field, home of the Cubs:
