La Semana Primaria

The first week is over and it's been an interesting ride thus far. We've spent lots of time at the Museum working on the project, the purpose for being here. We did, however, have the weekend off and got to explore a little. We got to explore the University (in a failed attempt to check out the library for more research), downtown, a flea market, and we got to see a parade. We also went to a birthday party for Bernardo Arriaza. Whoa, and what a party it was! Pics are presented below.
